The Platform is not an aviation authority, an approved organisation, or a certification body, and it does not approve, certify or release anything. It supports the organisation of information. Regulatory responsibility remains entirely with the customer organisation and its authorised personnel.

1.Regulatory positioning

The Platform is commercial software. It holds no aviation approval, no organisational approval, and no delegated authority. Its use is not evidence of compliance with any aviation regulation, and it does not replace an organisation's exposition, manuals, procedures or approvals.

Where an organisation chooses to use the Platform within a regulated process, it remains responsible for assessing suitability, for documenting that use in its own procedures, and for obtaining any acceptance required by its competent authority.

2.Responsibilities that remain with the organisation

  • maintenance planning, accomplishment and certification decisions;
  • airworthiness determinations, reviews and continuing airworthiness management;
  • release to service and the issuing of certificates or statements;
  • inspection standards, independent checks and double-check requirements;
  • defect assessment, classification, deferral and configuration deviation handling;
  • assessment and embodiment of directives, bulletins and mandatory instructions;
  • maintenance programme content, escalation and compliance;
  • component eligibility, traceability and configuration control;
  • tooling and equipment control, including calibration status;
  • personnel qualification, authorisation, currency and human-factors management;
  • safety management, occurrence reporting and quality assurance;
  • selection and control of approved data used for any task.

3.Approved data

The Platform does not supply, replace, revise or validate approved maintenance data. References, documents or summaries held or generated in the Platform are administrative aids. Work must always be performed against the applicable approved data in its current effective revision, obtained from the authorised source.

4.Records, signatures and traceability

Features that record who performed work, who closed or independently checked it, and the time spent are administrative attribution mechanisms within the software. They are not, by themselves, a regulatory certification, an authorised signature, or a maintenance release, unless the organisation has established and had accepted a procedure under which such an entry carries that meaning. Organisations remain responsible for the integrity, completeness, legibility, retention and archiving of their records, including maintaining any records required outside the Platform.

5.Forecasts, alerts and thresholds

Forecasting, threshold and alerting features are planning aids derived from the data an organisation enters and the intervals it configures. They are indicative, may be affected by incomplete or incorrect input, and must not be treated as authoritative compliance monitoring. The organisation is responsible for verifying limits, intervals, tolerances and effectivity against the applicable approved sources.

6.Availability and safety-critical dependency

The Platform must not be the sole means by which an organisation can meet a regulatory obligation. Organisations should maintain contingency arrangements enabling continued operation and record-keeping in the event of loss of access, and should not create dependencies that would prevent compliance during an outage.

7.Export control and sanctions

Users must not use the Platform to store or transmit technical data in breach of applicable export control, dual-use or sanctions requirements, and remain responsible for classifying and controlling such data.

8.No endorsement

Nothing on the Platform or in our materials constitutes an endorsement, approval, qualification or acceptance by any aviation authority, and no such statement should be inferred from the presence of regulatory terminology in the interface.
